Implement and supervise marketing and sales projects and ensure the goals and objectives of designated projects are in accordance with corporate policies. Collect and analyze data to evaluate existing and potential product and service markets. Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories. Project expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products. Implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors. Establish general and strategic security policies related to the company's information systems. Identify information systems in support of newly developed and/or expanded markets. Identify new technology opportunities. Supervise and maintain vendor contracts pertaining to information technology.
Subordinates include two (2) Mechanical Engineers and one (1) Administrative Assistant. Must have a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or the foreign equivalent. Must also have five (5) years of experience as Head of New Product Development in the automotive industry; five (5) years of experience in project management and new product development; and five (5) years of experience in the steel forging industry. The position offers the option of limited telecommuting up to 30% of the time. The position requires 30% domestic and international travel to customer and supplier sites as well as the company headquarters in Spain.
