My return to Alcorta after the separation of Alcorta from Brockhaus was planned within the frame of the strategy of being close to the customer. My first and most important task in all these years was and still is the direct contact to our German customers. I am there to help with any kind of incident out of the ordinary processes; my focus is to make our customers as happy as possible with our services.

From the very beginning we were looking for reliable suppliers and established with them a partnership which has supported the launch of a range of projects. Over time we gained the confidence of our regional customers and they rely on us for technical, quality and logistics support..

Alcorta decided to establish a footprint in France in 1999 to be closer to our French customers’ engineering and purchasing teams. The presence of Alcorta Forging Group’s French office translated into a significant increase in market share in what is the second strongest market of the European automotive industry.

Alcorta South Africa was established in 2008 to support our European customers’ local Plants in South Africa. Our customers benefitted from European quality and technology forgings with significant local value adding through machining processes close to the point of consumption. This local presence and activity differentiates Alcorta from its competitors to the benefit of our customers.

By establishing an Alcorta office in Shanghai, we have been able to simplify the communication with our Chinese clients; we act quicker and offer the best service to our clients in China. This has given us the chance to offer better quality forging products to this market.
