Dorleta Fernandez
industrial engineer
All my life I have been hearing the sound of the hammers. However, only a year ago I saw the company on the inside, and what a difference! I started to work in Alcorta while finishing my studies in industrial engineering, and didn't expect everything that this experience would bring. Alcorta is not a very large company and this, in addition to the good work environment, has made it a lot easier to combine studies and work. I have no doubt whatsoever to recommend studying and working at the same time. Living the day to day in a company makes you understand better what you learn in class, and the reward is not only reflected on your CV.
Jonathan Bouza
Higher technician in computer systems administration.
I have only worked in Alcorta for a month, but that has been enough to enjoy all the advantages of working here while I complete my studies. In the beginning I wasn't sure whether to accept this challenge or not, because I didn't want to give up my studies. Luckily this was not necessary, with a little organisation and the possibilities that Alcorta gave me, I can perfectly combine the two tasks. And not only that, but one thing complemented the other. Getting to see the day to day running of a company has helped me to understand what is explained in class. And without doubt, Alcorta has been a good choice.
Nerea López de Aguileta
Design engineer
A year ago, I was offered the opportunity to do a job placement in Alcorta, and I am still working here. I am a design engineer and because of the little I knew about forging I didn't know whether my profile would fit. I didn't know what to expect because I had never worked in a company in this sector before, but the experience has been excellent. From the first moment I felt supported by the entire team, and I have been completely free in doing my job; Alcorta is known for being an open-minded company and you can tell ... at work, from the people, its social commitment… it is a unique company.
