Ander Ircio
Forge coordinator
Two years ago Alcorta gave me the opportunity of joining their team; I have felt supported from the very first day. They opted to take on a 25-year old with little experience and they made it possible for me to learn and to show my skills. I think the fact they rely on young people is something very positive for a company. Showing humility and respect toward others during work can get you a long way, and this is something that I have learnt first hand in Alcorta.
It makes me feel proud to be a part of Alcorta.
Nora Olañeta
ITC/logistics
I started working in Alcorta in 2000, and in these 16 years the idea I have of Alcorta, and especially of its people, has always been very positive. On a personal level, Alcorta has always made it possible for me to juggle work and family, something that is not always easy being a mother of three children. Professionally I have grown in areas that have nothing to do with my original work (IT), which has been a very enriching experience for me.
Jochen Rauscher
Quality manager
After 8 years of working in the aeronautical sector I returned to resume my work as head of the quality department in the automotive industry. Working in a medium-sized company as Alcorta gives you a lot of freedom to make decisions, and this is very positive in a sector such as the automotive industry. Alcorta is always on the lookout for continuous improvement, not only as a company, but also as an employer, generating employment and well-being in the area. I love working with Basques, I think they resemble the people of my region in Germany. The people are very hard-working and are concerned about the future and the future of their families, and that becomes evident from the work they do and in the day to day routine.
